Winter 2011 - 2012

We move our study into the Old Testament Prophets, Isaiah - Jeremiah - Lamentations.     Jesus on The Cross

The Book of Isaiah is the center piece of the Jews and Christian Prophetic Books. No old testament prophet speaks more of the coming Messiah than Isaiah.

The Book of Jeremiah shows us that Israel still would not listen to God's warnings as the invasion begins and ends.

The Book of Lamentations gives us detail of what happened inside Jerusalem as it is under Seige.

Isaiah - Jeremiah - Lametations
Isaiah is believed to be writing by serveral writers including Isaiah. This is because the events from chapters 1 through 39 occured during Isaiah's lifetime. Chapters 40-66 occured after Isaiah's lifetime. Some believe that chapters 40 - 66 were written by Isaiah before the event's occured. This would prove that Isaiah is one of the most accurate prophet's in the bible. Jeremiah is written by the Prophet Jeremiah from Jerusalem, after Isaiah's time. Lamentations is written by Jeremiah the Prophet during the Seige of Jerusalem.
